smallzoo
My wife and I are very keen to get into motorhomes but first we are looking at renting one for a week to go to Devon ( from cheshire ) rather than book a cottage which we usually do. There will be 4 of us but as my Son is 18 and my daughter is 3 we will need 3 beds.. Looking at google there are literally dozens of hire places but I remember watchdog mentioning some horrendous examples of poor maintained homes. We would like a decent size one with shower etc.. We are happy to hire a small car if necessary if Devons roads are not suitable ! Does anyone know of which companies I should look at first ? Many thanks Peter
colin
The last van we hired in Uk was a 6 berth (three bed) from 'just go', funny enough we toured Devon in it, van was just fine, but driving around Devon lanes in it was a PIA compared to our PVC. PJay
As you have a 3 year old, make sure that the van you hire/buy, has suitable seating for child seat. Some belted seats are not safe for child seats PJay
SimonH
I can highly recommend the Family Travel Centre near Bristol, you could pick it up on your way down to Devon :) www.familytravelcentre.co.uk
