Lizzy - 2006-09-18 12:31 PM Lunar Premier on a Renault is 1st choice. Liked the look of the Hymer Eriba at Bath and West - :-o
Any of these would make a good choice Lizzy and i,ve always liked the Eriba. Almost bought one 15 years ago and apart from the quality and layout the rising roof was the real attraction for me. Hymer offer a range of colours on some models, but I,ve never seen yellow if that is still your first choice. Not my cup of tea , but at least you would,nt lose it on a busy camping field. The couple next to us at Shepton Mallet bought a l.e.d. light mounted on a 30ft pole. Ideal in the dark for finding the van after a few drinks. Howard.

Howard Hope you aren't disappointed that I'm female, I'm not offended at being thought of as a male at times, I am a bit of a tom boy after all, but I'm not sure Mel E will appreciate being mixed up with me and thought of as female!!! Mel E ... are you out there? Pleeeeaaaasssseeee forgive me ... I can't take much more .....

Not disappointed at all Mel, its just that it caught me by suprise. I think it all goes back to throwing me off Humber Bridge when I mentioned the boundry issues. With that sort of comment I assumed that I was talking to a bloke and will teach me not to be so presumptious in future. There is also a subtle difference when talking to male/female as rules of etiquette come in to play and I will bear this in mind with future correspondence. I,m sure Mel E. will understand when I say my mind was not entirely focused last night to put it mildly. One other thing i,d like to mention is the problem you have re. the sealant on the roof of your van. I don,t want to sound like a prophet of doom, but on a previous coachbuilt we once owned , a badly fitted topbox ruined the interior roof and backwall , resulting in a large loss come trade in time, and happened so quickly that the damage was done before I realised there was a problem. Better to be safe than sorry on this one. Howard.

Howard second's that only because I gave him a bung , :D
Not quite i,m afraid Chairperson/arbitrator/agony aunt. Rather a delicate problem here and one I feel you should deal with due regard to your position of authority. I put forward said problem for your appraisal and I quote. .................................................................... Posted 14 September 2006 8.17am Subject re. Fiat Ducato Sorry I forgot to mention , if any of you ladies out there that are coming to the event look for me & come over and you can handle my weapon (he he ) Wayne .......................................................................... Bearing in mind that our Wayne recently celebrated his 93rd birthday, perhaps you could have a quiet word with him before he does himself a mischief. Howard

The moderator, refuse to be drawn on what a 93 year old man can or cannot do with his weapon. The moderator wishes it to be known she has now stepped down due to being a useless speller . It has hearby been agreed by the other members that Howard is the new Moderator. I hope you will all welcome Howard into the chair smoothly..... Howard I think it is only right that the job go's to thebest candidate for the job that is you , i would like to wish you well in your new post (lol)

Dear Chairperson/arbitrator/agony aunt/moderator. Thank you for your kind offer which in all modesty I must sadly decline. As this was all your idea I feel it only right and proper that the prestige that comes with this position should remain in your safe and capable hands. Be assured that whatever the situation that may arise, then you have my full and unconditional support. (unless things turn nasty of course) Howard.

Just returned from a very pleasant weekend at CC site Northbrook farm, on the coast in West Sussex. Only took about 35 mins to get their from home. Couldn't take the goat as its a 'No goats allowed site'. I was wondering what the closest site to home that anyone has been to. Can you beat 35 mins. Is this a question I could put on Motorhome matters? I've gone a bit quiet as I'm confused. Do all threads have to mention Motorhomes now.
