Hi Peter. Most of us tend to be forever moaning about the small everyday things that crop up in our lives, and its only when we become aware of the seemingly insurmountable problems that face Michele, and the many others like her, that we realise how lucky we are. I,ve no wish to start another debate on our woefull health service, but surely support in such cases must be a priority.

Bootiful sight this morning, looking out over the back garden, seeing the foxes come into to eat the food put out for them, with the magpies trying to steal it. Very amusing game they play. And the snow is falling in big lumps making it all very picturesque. Must be about 4 ins deep now, complete white out. I'm going no where today (lol)

Getting pretty rough up here now. 8 inches in places. Main roads are poor side roads are terrible. Too many of the drivers I've seen out today shouldn't be let out with a tea trolley in fine weather let alone a car in this. I've just had to tell some stupid woman outside my house to put her headlights on, "why" she asked!!!!! My flabber has never been so ghasted! D.

Yup you got it spot on Twooks. Mrs Dave has just driven home but got stuck at the bottom of town (we live at the top of the hill) I walked down to meet her and drive the car up for her. first thing I did was to let the front tyres down to 5 psi. While everybody else was struggling, even big 4X4s with loads of wheelspin We just gently drove away. It took us nearly an hour to do about half a mile because of all the snarled up traffic doing 1/2 MPH. If you ever get stuck in soft ground or snow with minimum grip let your drive wheels tyres down to about 5psi, you'll be amazed how much grip there is! D.
