rocinrobin.leakegma Posted August 10, 2014 Share Posted August 10, 2014 Hi, Just bought a lovely new Elldis 115 about a month ago and loving it, but there is a strange smell coming from the front while driving sort of bad egg smell. I don't know as I've never bought a new van, but if it were mine I would be straight back to either or both the supplying dealer and the nearest Peugeot dealer to seek their advice and opinion. scotsbob Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 we had that in our van, not a new van but an 06 Peugeot Boxer elddis 120 , and having experience of the smell in works vehs - it was a antifreeze leak into the heater block and came thru when the fan was switched on, even worse when the heater was on - a real putrid rotten egg smell. the dealer 'had never heard of this before", it meant the heater block being dismantled and washed out, fortunately never happened again.
