johnlc
I'm hoping to buy a secondhand 200 DJ bike rack and will have to take it off the van it's on. Looking at the Fiamma installation pdf there seem to be a nut and an allen-key headed bolt at each of the four brackets that hold the rack to the van door. These are labelled as M6 size, but I think this refers to the size of the threaded shaft, not the size of the head of the bolt/nut. Does anyone happen to know what size spanner and allen key I would need to remove these bolts/nuts? Hope that makes senses Thanks
Brambles
If standard allen bolts and nuts then 5mm Allen key , and 10 mm spanner for 6mm nuts. The sizes , e.g M6, refer to the threads and shafts of the bolt..
johnlc
Brambles thanks for the reply - really helpful. Let's hope I can get it off their van without damaging it (their van that is!)
