voxy Posted September 23, 2006 Share Posted September 23, 2006 Wassenaar, about 12 miles south of Lisse has a large campsite with full facillities, but it ain't cheap. Travelling around Leiden I've seen various campsite signs, but have not used any. The Dutch frown upon wild camping, but we have spent many free nights camped over there without problem. We have used supermarket car parks, but try to 'hide' the bus in corners, next to buildings, so we are not spoiling the landscape. We also use Industrial estates amongst lorries without problem. Our rule of thumb has been "don't block anybodies landscape' and so far we've not had a visit from any boys in blue. Voxy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
