Either pay the fees for the campsite or park well away from it. Been there many times and never had any problems, never parked near the campsite though. the general Posted September 13, 2014 Share Posted September 13, 2014 I second that there is no reason to park in that car park , ( I know it well) I have been to durness many a time and wild camp just a few miles from durness no trouble , plenty of space to say the least up there so why upset the locals and make them anti MH ,a beautiful part of Scotland and the added bonus of John Lennon connection being a music fan .
