Guest Joe90
Just the stupidest thing I've ever come across, I have one of these filter housings on a pre X250 chassis, changing the filter element involves trying to hold a plastic holding in a vice, whilst trying to tighten the lid to a ridiculous degree as specified that almost proved impossible, why on earth the metal screw on filter has been ditched is a mystery, perhaps to stop folk like me doing these essential jobs. I have heard of issues with these housings leaking fuel probably as a result of under tightening the stupid things, and bloody tight they have to be, however I doubt that modifying this pile of crap design would be a walk in the park, mores the pity.
