Billggski
With dogs the tunnel is the best for their comfort by far, but three dogs will cost more than your own fare. Where to put them is your next decision. I'm assuming you've taken your dogs abroad before with the caravan so you know about the pet passport and worming tablet before return. The big difference you will find will be the ability to stop in just about any village and find an Aire, or even a vineyard with France Passion, whenever you feel like it. If you get the All the Aires book and possibly France Passion they arm you with information to wander with confidence. I often just see a Motorhome sign in a pretty place and have a look. Just relax, no need to find a site and then position your caravan. Just roll up and get the corkscrew out.

Stitches
Use the tunnel. Enjoy your travels, lots of 'camping cars' with dons on board in Europe.
steve101
Do your research before you go and make sure the little ones are fully protected.
Mathew1
The laws to carry your pets have changed over the years and they have made it more easier. The pets are moe safe then befre and they are less prone to any diseases. So, my suggestion to you would be, take it easy and enjoy the trip.
