Annabelle Posted September 27, 2014 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Hi, I've just joined today and am hoping so done can help me!!! When I hook up at home the mains green light doesn't come on. The utility battery lights up green then flashes red??? Shows battery dead. When I turn the ignition on the red light stops flashing. Any ideas please? ?? pkc Posted September 28, 2014 Share Posted September 28, 2014 Hi. First check that you are getting Mains voltage to the van by plugging something into a main 230 volt socket. Next you need to check the leisure battery voltage (under the seat) for a voltage reading with a multimeter, Do this first with the mains lead disconnected and the panel switch over the entrance door switched off. Repeat with the EHU lead replaced and the panel switch over the door on, if the treading is higher then this should tell you if the charger is working if the answer is yes it is probably the battery that has failed.
