Maybe the van had been checked for gas leaks and none had been found. In which case, I would assume they concluded that there is nothing wrong with the hoses ? (?) Martyn22
I understand your polnt about no leaks but if there is a date on the hose should it have been renewed?
lennyhb
BS 3212:1991 is the Specification for flexible rubber tubing, rubber hose and rubber hose assemblies for use in LPG, vapor phase and LPG/air installations. It is only a recommendation that the hoses are changed in 5 years from the date of manufacture, they should be inspected regularly and providing there is no cracking, damage or deterioration it is safe to continue using them.
