Hopesy
Hi All, can some one please tell me if the Omnistor 4900 wind out awning has an Awning rail channel so I can use our drive away awning attached to it using it's awning rail bead? I've tried looking on the Omnistor website and searched on forums. Thanks Hopesy
Robinhood
AFAIK, all the Omnistor awnings have/had such a channel. The website pictures show a privacy room is attachable, so I have no doubt this is the case for the 4900. ISTR that the channel profile differs slightly in diameter between the Fiamma and Omnistor kit.
Randonneur
We use our Omnistor with our drive away awning, the two are connected by 3 'figure of 8' piece. Have a look at this link which explains it better than I can. http://www.worldofcamping.co.uk/outdoor-revolution-fiamma-omnistor-adaption-kit?gclid=Cj0KEQjwn4iiBRDFh76wlfCVuYABEiQAwWJ1IkHpVexW1SYSY4II2YHFiM5y_KXTUl83ylEYkyGRkF4aAh608P8HAQ#fo_c=273&fo_k=ae38d8be6f25b6faa063d47147a73d0a&fo_s=gplauk The only things you have to make sure of are the sizes of your channel and awning as there are 2 sizes. We bought our fixing kit from Tamworth Camping.

lennyhb
Yes, they do have a channel along the underside of the front extrusion can't tell you what size as I don't have an awning on the current van.
