Looking for good ferry crossing from Spain to Morroco early February have looked on web but no info for that date any advice would be welcome going across to find campsites on kite surfing beach my van is 3m high and 7.4m long

Just roll up at Lidl in Algeciras and see Carlos. Do not book online. Vicarious books does a Morocco campsite guide.

Ferries go several times a day, you'll have no problem.

Just a heads up the ...Horizonsunlimited ..link is dated 2008 so situation may have changed

Well, when I went to Morocco in January this year it was still relevant and Carlos is still in business.

That's why I posted it.

Just a quick update re Carlos, his office outside the Lidl has now closed and he has moved around the corner, details on his website...

Overnight parking outside Lidls has also been stopped but apparently you can now overnight outside the nearby Mercadona supermarket.

We got tickets from him early last year and paid €200 for an open return, might have gone up by now of course, might be worth emailing him from the above link for an update.

Pete.

that office has been in use by carlos for many years, the lidl office was quite new. parking at lidl was fine, but overnighting was stopped by last year. as well as mercadona, there is ample parking past mcdonalds.

i seem to have paid euro 200 every time ive been, from 2007 till this year !!!! there seemed to be a lot more new campsites being built now, with good facilities, and they may be included in the french morocco camping book. ive seen it, but have no details im afraid.
