arthur49
As the title suggests any recommendations for a CL or CS north of M62 corridor to the Scottish Border? At this time of year prefer a hardstanding and EHU. Also prefer reasonable walking or cycling access to a village/town

arthur49
ips - 2014-10-23 5:49 PM Hi Arthur did you make a decision yet ? Yes Ian. We're booked in to Birley Arms for two nights arriving tomorrow then off to Holmfirth - don't know where we're staying yet. On way home stopping off at Gib Farm for at least 2 nights but not booked yet as don't know when we're heading north!
ips
Have a great time Arthur. When you go to Gib have a walk on Gib point. Turn right out of the site walk about 100yds then take the coastal path on your right, some great views from there and a lovely walk. Indian restaurant is very good as is the wolf gallery café opposite the site entrance. Oh and a word of warning, cant remember how big your van is but if its a large ish CB then do not try to drive to Arnside from silverdale the road is somewhat unforgiving.
