Clive Posted September 26, 2006 Share Posted September 26, 2006 We have a Scout on a Merc chassis. B. Good motorhome. Had it over 9 years since new. Personally I don,t like twin tag axle types prefering conventional twin rears and rear wheel drive. Less chance of getting stuck on wet grass. Next MH will have a garage though. Enjoy. Ranger Posted September 27, 2006 Share Posted September 27, 2006 I have a Cherokee L, on a VW 2.4 TDI Automatic, single back axle, and my mate has an autotrail also, but his is on a Mercedes, both built like tanks but well behaved on and off road.
