Stage
Hi, I have ordered a new MH and am intending to use it to use it at times as transport to and from work (festivals and the like), can any of you good people out there advise on who to go to for the correct type of insurance? Will86
I assume all insurance companies follow a similar pattern relating to cover that includes any "work", to or from and "work itself", most do not in my view, so why not call any one of them and ask. StuartO
Insuring for use as transport to and from work might be straighforward enough to add to a standard policy but once you mention work at festivals I suspect you will ring alarm bells. Lots of people do use motorhomes when they are trading at shows etc so it must be possible. Maybe talk to an insurance broker rather than use a comparrison website for this tyoe of cover? colin
Cannot comment on which companies offer what, but it is important that you ask for the correct cover. Most now seem to start at domestic and leisure only, then add for commute to a fixed place of work, then extra for travel to any place of work, then extra for transport of goods. lennyhb
Comfort now include it as standard (same policy as M/F), most companies will add it for no charge.
