LAK
Thinking of changing to PVC. Are the back-doors draughty? Use current motorhome all year.
Curtisden
I have a East Neuk Fifer L which I find fine re draughts. Cosy conversion. But they do have a cold bridge in the centre joint where they meet. But I use my PVC 12 months a year and always turn off heating overnight boosting it at dawn before rising. Hope that helps. LAK
I think you have a point. I need a narrow vehicle to keep it at home. My current motorhome is 212cm wide and most of the new vehicles are around 235, that is main reason looking at possible PVC.
mel wood
We have an Auto-Sleepers Symbol ES and use it all year. Lounge is at the front and we have never felt a problem with draughts at the back. Two tips - we use a panel heater when necessary (which can stay on all night if required) and if it is exceptionally cold weather we sometimes use a small blow heater. The blow heater is also good for putting in the loo area if we need to dry any wet clothes. (We find that the Erbespacher (diesel) heater is useless in our van, partly because the one outlet points away from the lounge so that's why we use the heaters mentioned above.)
