carebear
Anyone got any information regarding this company Motorhome Depot. Looking at vans to purchase and this company appears a lot. Seems to be Nationwide. ???
Randonneur
We have been dealing with this Company as we are looking for a motorhome for our Daughter who lives in France. They are Brokers and will sell your van for a commission. There are different Agents all over the Country, the 3 that we have had dealings with are ok, but there again they are Sales people on behalf of the owners. If you are selling a van then you are able to use your vehicle whilst it is up for sale instead of putting it on a sales forecourt.
carebear
Thank you, same situation here daughter seeking a van. Was wondering if the company was an add on of the Auto trader, can remember some time ago they had a magazine of just motorhomes and caravans. Just a word of warning stay clear of some adverts on Freeads.co.UK. for motorhomes, made enquiries about two advertised, they were different areas of the country, listed in different names but for sale by same person, reported the matter they were removed, then relisted in different names same vans. Don't know how many more they had on there.
kelly58
We had our motorhome for sale with Motorhome Depot , but never had any enquiries during the 90 day contract , after the end of the contract we have placed it on e-bay and have had 3 genuine enquiries two of which are very keen , but have to sell theirs 1st . The 3rd interested party have been and viewed it and test driven it as a 1st time motorhome buyer and are still undecided weather to have a motorhome or not . Motorhome Depot ask the best price you will accept and then add their fee to the selling price usually around £1500 / £2000. to cover all their advertising and admin. lennyhb
They are not nationwide they are just brokers, you view the van you are interested in at the sellers house, they do have a sister company that has premises where they have their own stock. Randonneur
lennyhb - 2014-11-24 11:39 AM They are not nationwide they are just brokers, you view the van you are interested in at the sellers house, they do have a sister company that has premises where they have their own stock. There are Agents that seem to cover all areas of the Country. Jonathan Hurst seems to do the North West area, Diane (haven't got a 2nd name) covers South Yorkshire and Chris and Lorraine Blackstone cover parts of the Midlands. There are other Agents in Devon and other areas. As I said before, they are Brokers on behalf of Sellers.

carebear
The Nottingham area is a James Drewery at Mansfield Centre. We have seen another person in Cardiff which is local to us, which made me think it was a national chain.
