BikerBarry Posted December 17, 2014 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Does anyone know of an insurance company which can cover Morocco and the trip through Bosnia, Montenegro and Albania to Greece? Our present insurer (Campton) will do Bosnia etc, but not Morocco. ] Safeguard will do Morocco, but not Albania. Comfort and Saga won't touch any of them. Any suggestions from personal experience? Yes I did ring Comfort, and the lady I spoke to definitely said they wouldn't cover for travel in Morocco. As things stand I'll renew with Campton as they will cover Bosnia, Montenegro and Albania. AIUI, however, Morocco was not covered under the standard policy, but was available on request, at an additional cost, with a limit of 120 days and with a green card issued. From memory we had to get a Green Card when we went in 2011 You should be aware that the RAC does not operate services in Israel, Iceland, Morocco or Tunisia. In these countries you are advised to pay for the services you receive yourself. Upon your return to the UK you should initiate a claim for the costs to be reimbursed by contacting RAC European Support on 08705 493320. All claims must be supported by valid receipts.
