Wirral, mildish climate with the peninsular protected by the Pennines or Snowdonia. Great coastal views and walks; Liverpool for a day trip either shopping or site seeing; Ellesmere Port for Boat Museum, shopping, Aquarium; a few surprisingly good art galleries, Chester, Wales and the Lancashire coastline within easy reach. Good variety.

Lincolnshire coastal district. Suniest and driest place in the UK. Plenty of things to see as well.

Top of the list must be Pelmetmans collection of antiquated but lovingly bodged up Camper vans, with most parts sourced from local van spares shop (breakers yard).

Only joking of course, but linc's is pleasant.

Depends what you like but that time of the year in the UK would stick to a large town or city. We have just come back from York doing our Christmas shopping, only spent three nights at the CC site but could easily spend a week here and not move the van. If the weather Is good there are plenty of places nearby to get out and walk, if weather is not so good lots of stuff that is inside.

It's always warmer down here on the south coast, maybe Poole, Bournemouth. Sheltered from the channel winds , by the I>O Wight Even the island would be very nice in February Or if you like history Portsmouth area Easy journey from midlands down the motorway.
