Caddies104
Hi and and Merry Xmas and a great New a Year I was wondering if I could download POI onto a sd card from the built in Sat Nav in an Autotrail. It is a Naviextra 12ELE2000.. Looking to download ACSI sites mainly, looked at past threads but not really covered Thanks Derek & Pauline (lol)
Robinhood
Managing POIs for IGO8 and Primo based SatNavs is covered in my post here, and, if you are confident, shouldn't be a problem. http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Hints-and-Tips/IGO-and-Primo-POIs/34445/ (the attachment gives full details). You will, however, need a file giving ACSI locations, (either in, or converted to) .kml format. I'd normally get that from "archieseurope", but the ACSI link appears to be currently broken. Caddies104
Hi Many thanks Robin Hood, looks like I have some reading to do, will give it a try over the holiday Thanks again
Robinhood
...it looks slightly daunting, but really is very simple (especially the initial step of getting POI's in - enabling custom Icons is a bit more fiddly). Before trying anything, however, make sure the card is backed up! Done successfully once, you should have no problem repeating for other sets. If you struggle, drop me a pm. (I have a very large set of pre-prepared 2014 POIs which I could share, but ACSI is not one of the categories).
