Morocco Campsite book

Received wisdom (ie. on-line comments ;-) ) is that the “Camping Morocco” book published by Vicarious Books in September 2009 is still the only English-language guide of its type.

As will be evident from the Vicarious Books website

http://www.vicariousbooks.co.uk/camping-morocco.shtml

the scope of the book is relatively limited as there are not that many campsites or parking areas in Morocco where a motorhome might stay.

The webpage includes the advice

“...There are no plans for a new edition of this guide but details of updates and new campsites we are informed of can be found on our Camping Morocco updates page.” The link to the updates page produces a list of amendments (dated from 2011 to 2014) that can be used to make the book’s information more current.

A GOOGLE-search on “morocco motorhome” retrieves a fair amount of other stuff that may be of interest.

For what it’s worth, I notice that there are more recent Morocco-related French-language ‘camping’ books

Hi,

We used the Vic Book as a general guide (Mar 2013) and found it quite useful as a general reference but obviously things like prices etc are out of date, we found we mainly relied on the Campingcar-Infos POI's coords.

If we were to go again I would probably try and get hold of one of the guides below but can't comment on how comprehensive they are and doubt you'll get a full English version like the Vic Book...
