bounty hunter
May 2013 we sailed from Hirtshalls to Larvik in our motorhome with enough food & drink for 8 weeks and were not stopped by customs. Normally they only stop Norwegians as they presume they are returning with lots of goodies whereas we are seen as only providing for ourselves. Please remember there is always an exception to every rule and you MAY be stopped. We are returning late August for 8 weeks with the intention of seeing the Northern Lights. Probably sailing from Immingham, cost £741 one way for a 9 metre long, 3.6 metre high motorhome, but will return via Calais. John
