V6Jim
I have a cassette hose that I use to fill the water tank on my motorhome and the poor old thing looks like a sprinkler system rather than a hose! Anyway, point is, I need a new one. But rather than buy the whole cassette and all the bits, I'd like to buy just the hose and save some money. Anybody know of somebody who can supply me tha hose only for about £15? Help would be very much appreciated... Jimmy
david lloyd
Sorry V6Jim - never seen the hose for sale separately but is there a makers/suppliers name or number anywhere on the cassette? If not, but your type of cassette reel is still for sale in the caravan accessory shops, perhaps there will be a name on the packaging? Would the caravan accessory shops be able to help locate just the hose? Best of luck, david
Mike Chapman
Hello Jim, Try the on-line Draper catalogue page 532. These are lay flat hoses but not sure if they are suitable for drinking water. Hozelock also sell lay flat hose. Try also www.richardsfire.co.uk/potablewater.htm Regards, Mike.
V6Jim
Yhanks guys. The Draper one is only available in 5m lengths unfortunately. I sent the Richards lot an enquiry and they replied that they don't sell the stuff they show they are selling on their website...... (?) I'll keep trying... Ranger
Range do a very usefull one, it can be used partly unwound, so you don't have to pull the whole pipe out of the cassette. It is actually a triple flat hose with a selection of end fittings. I think I paid about £18 for it. Not drinking quality but we don't drink tank water anyway.
