Iain Strachan
Britanny Ferries cancelled Portsmouth to Santander sailing on Wednesday and moved it to Friday. We are now exploring the delights of Portsmouth!

Bojitoes
Bad luck Iain, I suppose it is because of storm Rachel? Hope it doesn't happen to us! Have a good holiday Bob
StuartO
Oh dear, and more poor weather coming too - I hope you eventually get a smooth crossing. There is lots to see and do in and around Portsmouth, especially if you have any intertest in naval or military history. The Dockyard of course, with HMS Victory and the Mary Rose, but there is stuff to see and do all over the place, including on the Gosport side, where fore example there is the Explosives Museum at Priddy's Hard, with cafe. And the Submarine Museum is in Gosport too, with HMS Alliance to go on board, and Holland 1. There's a Royal Marines Museum at the former Eastney Barracks too, or used to be. nowtelse2do
Looking at the weather chart, Biscay ain't the place to be today or tomorrow. Friday looking better. Dave
T8LEY
That's bad luck. We had the same problem last January, but, with booking through the Caravan Club, they sorted us another destination, St Malo, on the same day. Very useful, because we were on the road to the Santader ferry when CC told us it was canceled.

The British ones probably float o/k the right way up. It's when inverted you would have a problem, as the roofs leak. :D
