Dr Dave
After many many years of being a Camping and Caravanning Club Member and visiting the Club site at Damage Barton in North Devon i was surprised this year when the Club sites book arrived and found that Damage Barton is no longer a C&CC site it retains the Caravan Club site status but the site that used to be C&CC is now just a commercial site. I wonder if the Camping Clubs new variable pricing policy or the fact that they added the 'shoulder season' (since retracted) contributed to this. It does mean that the age concession discount is now reduced to only 25p or 50p maximum. I always considered this site (even though it was an affiliated site) to be one of the jewels in the Camping Clubs crown.

tugga
We stayed here many years ago and all it did was rain. We had a caravan at the time and the lady owner did nothing but moan about us driving over her grass in the car as we went out daily (due to weather). We never went back, we thought it was a horrible site. :-(
