bazooka
rAfter having my roofllights resealed the problem returned. So i had the big hecki light, the roof air con.and the bathroom roof light removed. The bathroom on was replaced with a new one,the air con replaced and resealed. Before the Hecki light was replaced plastic inserts were bedded in to grooves of the Ducato roof meaning that the rooflight was then bedded on to a flat surface and therefore keeping the joint above any water that hung on the roof.My roof had a couple of dents from when the air con was first installed before i had the van.I feel sure the grooves in the roof make a waterproof seal difficult allthough my van was 10 years old when this problem occured.
