Valkman
Anyone got a 16" steel spare wheel for sale? I'm looking for a spare wheel fitted with Vancouver Camper 225/75R16CP tyre if possible. I'd also like to fit a spare wheel carrier to my Hymer B544 with the 4.25 AL -KO chassis if it's possible.
PJay
Have you tried looking at breakers? You can always get the tyre you want put on it. PJay
Derek Uzzell
There are companies that will supply a suitable new wheel or a wheel + tyre combination. For example http://whichtyres.com/2013/04/fiat-ducato-steel-wheels/ http://www.tyresave.co.uk/alloyvan.html http://www.oponeo.co.uk/steel-wheels-for/fiat/ducato If you opted for a wheel + Vanco Camper tyre combination, you’d need to check that a clamp-in tyre-valve had been fitted to deal with the inflation pressure you’d probably be using. Guest peter
Depends on base vehicle. I've got one for a 2006 on Sprinter totally unused with studs for a steel wheel.
Derek Uzzell
Valkman’s motorhome is a 2012 Hymer B544 on 4250kg Al-Ko chassis, hence a 16” steel wheel for a Fiat Ducato X250 ‘Maxi’ (or Peugeot Boxer/Citroen Relay X250 ‘Maxi’) would be suitable. Apparently the Fiat Part No. is 1374100080 and there’s currently a good-condition example on ebay for £50 http://tinyurl.com/pah6yz9 (I think 16” wheels from pre-X250 'Maxi’ Ducatos/ Boxers/Relays may not fit on X250 ‘Maxi’ hubs.) Guest Peter James
The X/250 16" wheels are the same as the Iveco Daily which may widen your net a little. Specifying the make of tyre on it is an unnecessary restriction IMO.
