jeffo Posted February 10, 2015 Share Posted February 10, 2015 Hi everyone. I have just purchased a motorhome. It is a 2013 Rollerteam 707 7 berth X-Rental. I am now discovering that I am having trouble finding insurance and am hoping someone can suggest something... The motorhome will be a company owned vehicle. I will be using rental agencies initially to advertise the vehicle and rent it out. When not in use for rental it will be stored at my home/business address and may be used infrequently by myself if it is not otherwise occupied. I have just spoken to Stavely Head insurers who said that they are unable to provide cover under these circumstances. Is anyone else doing something similar? How? StuartO Posted February 10, 2015 Share Posted February 10, 2015 You are doing something unusual, so normal MH insurers will all probably steer clear. They won't want to cover either renting or company ownership. But some insurer will quote. I suggest you contact an insurance broker and let him do the searching around for you.
