Looks like it. Get some made, or do as I've done. It's only the squab that needs protecting.

Nope, thats not the way forward for me. Looks like "Hymer" spares or whatever its called, at least with the euro falling that should be a benefit, but thanks for the comments.

I have washed and tumble dried our sheepskin rugs lots of times and they are fine.

So clever Peter NOT

Step 5 - Dry Your Seat Cover

Now that your sheepskin seat cover has been given a thorough cleaning, you'll need to hang it up to dry indoors, as excessive heat and sunlight aren't good for sheepskin. Allow at least three to four hours of drying time.

That comment was nasty Maggyd. I was stating what I have done and not suggesting you or anyone else for that matter follow my example. I have two sheepskin rugs that I put on the cab seats that cost the princely sum of £50 from Dunelm. If they are scrap after 10 yes I will bin them. They are now six years old and are fine. So there.

You constantly contradict anyone else that gives advice ! over the 53 years that I have been married I have had about 4 sheepskin rugs AND IN MY EXPERIENCE if you put them in the washer and dryer you ruin them !! and no they weren't from Dunelm they were bought from village shops on our travels AND the are REAL .

IF yours weren't ruined then you were lucky VERY and no I am not being nasty I don't like someone insinuating that I am telling lies .

Did you read the washing instructions on that link ? I am not on my own telling some-one to be careful how they wash wool. And no I wouldn't put a wool jumper in hot water or a hot dryer either.

You want to calm down a bit. Where have I insinuated you were telling lies?.

Once again thanks for the response, but these are not for Isri seats with integrated headrests. What I'm asking is can someone recommend a supplier, not just provide a link to "supplier". The use of the word recommend implies personal knowledge that the "supplier" can meet my need/want, and the advice is given with that knowledge.

Why not do what most people who require information. Search the internet and save yourself and others the time typing on here. As nobody so far has met your requirements.

Searching the internet is not the answer when you're asking for a recommendation. Perhaps I've not been clear.

Spoke to the folks in Stockport, real sheepskin covers available for the give away price of £285/seat. This is the first time I've found anyone charging more than Hymer! Viva the weak euro.

Well it was worth a try, they were making some when I was at the factory. From memory I think they said they were around £250 per pair. It was three/four years ago and they were probably smaller.

Can anyone recommend a supplier of real sheepskin seat covers. There are loads out there but a personal recommendation would be welcome. The van is a Hymer with Isri seats, the seatbelts are not incorporated.

Many thanks

Sorry, not my 'Cup of tea', but at a good price for genuine sheepskin.

Wow they are ugly, I expect they're cheap because nobody wants them! Just goes to prove my point that searching the internet is often a complete waste of time.
