I've had Yuasa batteries on Japanese cars and they always seem to last well without being overly expensive to replace but as with all things Yuasa make different grades of batteries and it depends on how good it is to start with?

Given different people's different experience of the same battery, I sometimes feel that there is a greater difference between batteries of the same make than there is between makes?

A lot depends on how the battery has been treated before you get the van and if it has been allowed to go flat and left flat for a period chances are that it will have a reduced capacity and not last as long as a new unused one.
