andy mccord
Ive been offered a metal one Joe, but my preference is the plastic one, which is the original fitment to my van. Andy
Derek Uzzell
Joe90 Yes, that initially threw me too. What Andy is looking for is the brown plastic ‘striking plate’ shown on the ebay advert he provided a link to. However, the advert indicates that the item is not currently available from the ebay seller and Andy wants to find another on-line supplier. If there’s no on-line supplier at present, an Adria dealership should be able to source the item. http://www.adria.co.uk/en/2015/dealer-network/
Guest Joe90
Just a thought for the OP, if it is rattles that concern him by using the metal version my solution for all the doors and lockers in my van was to use a good quality "P" profile draught excluder applied to the edge of the doors, the elimination of furniture rattle noise remarkable. http://www.amazon.co.uk/tesa-05395-Draught-Excluder-Profile/dp/B000QB4ELO/ref=pd_cp_diy_2
andy mccord
Derek/Joe, Thanks for your replies, the metal one I've been offered looks quite cumbersome, I was trying to avoid using an Adria dealer due to delivery leadtimes of what is just a niffnaff item, Seems getting hold of this item is more difficult than I thought it would be. :-( Regards Andy
Solomongrundy
Have you tried Chris?
Derek Uzzell
Andy I don’t think this will advance your search much, but the item you want appears in a French accessory catalogue http://www.destinea-accessoires.com/quincaillerie/arret-gache-penderie-7718 The description says that it’s used on wardrobes by Adria, Autostar and Knaus. (Presumably you’ve tried Venture Caravans who were offering the things on ebay?)
