Tea man
We are traveling down to Gibraltar, can any one recommend a good safe place to park up overnight or a nice site for one night near the border? Thanks
terry1956
Hi there is a site within walking distance of the crossing point. Past the crossing point on your right and you will see it on your right just before the beech starts.michael

dora_ex
We used a site 10 minutes away from the border at La Linea. Camping Sureuropa, very safe, staff on site 24/7. Great facilities and lovely staff, the site is run with help from the learning disabled, really lovely place to stay just across from the beach. http://www.campingsureuropa.es/index_en.html

Paul M Who
There is an Aire at the address below. It is opposite the tennis club on Av Príncipe de Asturias. It is just a large area with no services but it is where all the MH rigs all park. A short walk to the border crossing. We rode our bikes across the border to Gibtown. The vehicle queue in was horrendous and there are bugger all places to park a rig near the sights or shops. The queue out was worse. The vast area adjacent to the border that used to be where everyone parked was closed off with concrete barriers when we were there. There is a huge Morrisons by the harbour that is a great place to restock. Av del Ejército and Av Príncipe de Asturias36.158587, -5.342960
ChrisD
Hi There is the relatively new aire at alcaidesa marina five minutes from the border. The aire is on the marina which for the views is interesting in itself. They provide waste and fresh water and what appears to be a good level of security. Not cheap 12euros a night but you pays yer money etc
