Suda
Hello. We are considering buying a 2008 Burstner Travel Van having realised that a 6 metre PVC is a little too small and in truth we made a mistake. I realise that a shed load of money could be lost but is it wise to go back so many years and is this motorhome a realistic buy at £28,000 with 22,000 miles on the clock? Always valued the advice of MMM members. Thanks
lennyhb
German vans tend to hold their prices better due to the superior build quality. I sold my 2008 low profile Hymer for 36k last year. Plenty here if you don't mind LHD (I prefer LHD)
Sparks1061
Hi, we had a 2008 Burstner travel van for a couple of years and loved it. Good quality and nice layout for the two of us and our dogs, only reason we changed it was not quite enough floor space for 4 dogs. but I do miss having a van that you could park almost anywhere you could park a car. The extra 1.5M we have on our new van is taking some getting used too :) The only problem we had with the van was with the heating, ours had a Webasto for hot water and heating, was great when it worked but was a bit unreliable, Don´t know if all travel vans have Webasto fitted as standard but if yours does test it well and makesure you have someone near by who can service/repair it if it needs it.
