On those days Germany will be holding it's third nationwide 'Flash Marathon', where the police will again be targeting speeders with thousands of temporary speed cameras. In September 2014, the police had checked three million motorists and caught approximately 93,000 offenders. More than 13,000 police officers were used in all 16 states.
