StanDup
Hello folks. We've got a 2007 Hymer fitted with Dometic (top hinged) Windows to the kitchen, lounge and bedroom. The sun has cracked the slide that moves when you press and turn the handle, thereby unlocking two side catches. I have bought a new slide and I am wondering whether anyone has any idea how | go about fitting the new part. Do I have to strip the frame down ? Thanks. StanDup
pepe63 - 2015-04-12 10:09 AM Hi Barry.. Are any of the pdfs on here of any use? http://www.leisurespares.co.uk/stock/Seitz/windows/# Pepe63. That's great thanks.......... Your post enabled me to research further and I've now identified my window model (S7Z) and the part number (BG1350). Having 'Googled' that information...............I hope to have a plan of attack, sliding the strip out without stripping the window down. (??) If not, the Seitz Contact forms should take me forward. For general information, the strips ate £50+ from UK suppliers on Ebay.......... €33 from a Hymer dealer in Spain, and advertised from €29 from a Dutch supplier. Thanks again. Appreciated very much.
