johnlc
When I put the key to the MAR position I get the word OIL appear in the bottom right of the digital display for 3 or 4 seconds. There are 5 dash signs at the top of the display also showing _ _ _ _ _. These dashes don't seem the same as the open or closed boxes that the manual suggests indicate the oil level. The level on the dipstick is fine. The message goes off when the engine is started. I'm puzzled. Any suggestions? Thanks
Mike88
Where the _ _ _ _ _ are shown should be orange lights showing the oil level.
johnlc
Yes that's what I thought, but I don't know why they are not there on the display in my van, or what the five dash marks mean

Is the van under warranty?
johnlc
Mike No it isn't but I've been advised that the dashes rather than boxes are appearing because the oil sensor is faulty. The dipstick level is fine so I'll get the sensor changed at the next service Thanks
