Frank
Hi I have bought a replacement cassette for my Thetford C3 however, it is the wrong hand and needs to be reversed. I was aware of this prior to buying and had downloaded the instructions from Thetford to reverse the handedness. The instructions are straightforward and call for two of the components, the air release button and the pouring spout, to be undone and swapped. To achieve this they need to be turned 45 degrees and then worked loose. This went well for the air release fitting however, the pouring spout at 45 degrees is then in the position used to empty it and I can’t seem to get it to come off and I am not happy using any more force in case I damage it. I have contacted Thetford well over a week ago and still no reply. Has anybody else had any experience of swapping these components? Brambles
Hi, Turn it all the way so it is pointing 45 deg backwards - then it will release and come out easily.
