flyboyprowler
Has anyone stayed at the campsite near Baza lakes in Spain. We are hoping to go up there for a couple of days next month, and would like to know if there is any feedback, good or bad! Also any alternatives to the above? We have a friend who lives in Freila near to the Embalassie de Neggreti . We have seen a camp site there somewhere, not sure exactly where. It was a bit neglected from the outside and not very busy. You don't see many vans in that area, as it is a bit like a dessert, but very beautiful by the lake I would imagine you could easily wild in that area. Would be interested to know how you get on PJay
flyboyprowler
Happily back from the "Betsy Adventure". We took 2 nights in La Cabanuela, then 2 near Soto Grande, and finally 2 in Cordoba for the patio flowers festival, and a night on route back home in Granada. Camping Rural was lovely, very friendly, quiet, shaded, and a nice restaurant, with others nearby. Sadly no discount. The Freila site was open, but as said, looked neglected, small pitches, and no one there. The Bella Vista near Soto Grande is a nice site, ACSI but no discount, but right on the beach. Very clean and excellent facilities. Cordoba again, no discount, but I found it a lot better than some of the reviews. Nice site, very clean, 30 mins walk into the city and a taxi back, 6€. Nice ACSI site just east of Granada on the A92. Very quiet, a bit tight for our van (7.3m) but great restaurant, and very clean facilities, and 16€ with ACSI. Nice trip but it's very hot here now, 39 degrees today, so you need a/c or a good fan!!
