Will86
Sainsbury's sell 2 tin sizes, one @ '80p containing 28 prunes with stones and one @ '65p containing 16 prunes with no stones. which is the cheaper The larger tin is the cheaper by .02005 pence per prune but you do have to supply the energy to remove the stones. (If my calcs' are correct)

Will86
I don't think its bad publicity, just a comparison between two sizes and prices in the same shop.

Tracker
That's one way to get stoned I suppose! I suppose you could write a book about it - '101 uses for a stoned prune'?
laimeduck
I reckon that the larger tin would turn out to be a "Sailor" & we all know what that means? (28 stones at Tinker Tailor Soldier ..... etc) I'll get my coat.....

antony1969
Will can you check Tescos alcohol measurements please for your next investigation Back in the day a case of 24 tins would last me the week ... Now I'm lucky to get two days out of them I'm presuming Tesco has sneakily reduced the tin size or the tins leak or sumat ... Regards .. Thirsty ..
