Brian Kirby Posted May 3, 2015 Share Posted May 3, 2015 We used an Orbitur site in Villa Nova de Gaia (Camping Madelena), which is only a fairly short (and highly entertaining), about 4 mile, bus ride from the centre. Bus stops almost outside site. There is a rail station, Coimbo-Madalena, about a mile east, but I don't know where the line goes. The site GPS is N41.10798 W8.65570. Site was fine for the few days we were there, but no shops nearby. There is a large Auchan at Arribida, entrance GPS N41.14078 W8.63486, and a Carrefour at Gaia, which is nearby, entrance GPS N41.13880 W8.63878. It would pay to arrive at the site stocked up.
