Stuart202
Hi, We are in the south of Ireland near Waterford and for some reason our TV aerial can't find any satellites! It just keeps rotating and then gives up! Wife is apoplectic and therefore my peace is ruined..... Does anyone know how to manually override the auto find or of a good TV/aerial person in this area? Thanks for listening. Stuart :-S
Will86
I appreciate the situation you're in but cannot assist sorry, there must be TV shops around. We never go away to watch TV, in fact we never carry any means for viewing. Will

Stuart202
Hi Hazel, That's brilliant we'll give them a go. It's a Bank holiday here today so we'll try in the morning. Really appreciate you taking the time to search for us. Thank you. Stuart
JohnP
First place to look is the LNB which may have gone down so it won't pick up a signal. Replacements are quite cheap. Second, there may be a fault with the control box. More expensive unless under warranty.
JohnP
For your information Maxview have just released some updated software for their wireless control box. It can be downloaded from their website.
Stuart202
Hi All, Thanks for the responses. I spent a difficult day obtaining a memory stick, downloading the update, installing it on the satalite and then re - programming the TV! Yes we did it but it was difficult for the lack of stuff we take for granted at home! I guess we learned a lesson and will check the TV before we head off next time..... Hey Ho, hindsight. ... Thanks Stuart
