PeteH
Hi Years back we used to regularly camp the New Forest. I am hearing that some of the "Day" visitor Parking has Height barriers Now? We thought of going to Matley Wood . But would need to take the M-H out and about, as initially we will have no "Toad". Can any one update? vindiboy
http://tinyurl.com/k9yzkfr You can park for the day here at Lyndhurst free , we drove across the Forest today towards Beauliue and noted several good parking places suitable for Motorhomes, we were in our van and could have stopped almost anywhere, I do not know of any Forest parking that height barriers , Rangers patrol extensively now the Forest is a National park and move anyone on who look like they are trying to overnight , are you aware of Stoney Cross, it used to be a war time airfield and is a huge area and a good place to spend a day for picnics in the van several lakes dotted around the area too.http://tinyurl.com/k9yzkfr

sean.clarke
Spent lots of time in the New Forest, never had any issues, can't even recall seeing a height barrier, at least not noticed one that stopped us parking.
