ckerr
I have 1997 Fiat Ducato and the horn has gone permanently live; so I have had to pull off the live feed. I have checked the steering wheel switch and all appears well. It seems as though it might be a stuck relay! I would appreciate any information on the existance and location of such a relay, as I would rather not start pulling off relays at random. Many Thanks, Cecil Kerr
Mel E
The box containing the relays and fuses normally has a diagram in the lid labelling each item in the box. Sometimes it's a paper 'stick-on' but it's also often embossed in the plastic lid.
tonyishuk
I seem to recall from seeing a forum somewhere that this is a common problem. Sometimes the horn can be coaxed back into life by removing a rubber bung and altering an adjuster in the horn. Could be wrong though !
Dave Newell
Hi, not sure about the Ducato but horns are frequently earth switched. That is to say the horn is fed with a permanent live and the earth connection goes via the horn push switch. D.

ckerr
Many Thanks to all. Horn working for the time being. Some araldite to firmly attach the brass strip on the steering wheel switch. A new horn mounted higher in the engine bay, and new female spade terminals on the positive and negative wires. Cheers!
