coot Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Hi we are having trouble getting a good signal on all bbc stations all the other stations appear to be ok.we. we have a aerial with a status 530. It does not make any difference if the 12v is on or not. We know that the box is working as the light is on . Has anyone any idea of the problem. Absolutebeginner Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 I'm no expert on this but a while back when the powers that be were shunting Freeview stations around I had problems getting programmes from Wales rather than England (I live near Clevedon, north Somerset). I found out that TV stations are grouped into separate clusters, and you might get good results for most clusters but all the stations in one cluster might not be receivable (is that a word?) All the BBC channels will be in the same cluster. If you Google freeview reception type searchwords you will get the proper technical information. The upshot in our case was to manual tune, and later when the PTB had finished messing about in our area it all settled down. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
