TPK
I keep my motorcaravan in storage which is about 15 miles from my home. I shall return it there in due course for the winter period, however I should like to remove the habitation battery to store in my garage, so that I can charge it every few weeks. As this battery would normally be charged whilst driving, can anybody advise me if there is any problem with driving a motorcaravan which has had the battery removed. Clive
Providing the removed cable ends are securely insulated and secured there is no reason why you should not drive your motorhome with the leisure battery removed.
colin
If its stored outside you could always fit a small 'battery top-up' solar panel
