silverbike
Hello everyone. We are due to land in Kristiansand at 20.15 and are looking for an overnight site within a half hour drive. We'll be heading along the coast to the west. Any suggestions please? Thanks

Robinhood
Some of those ferries have very inconvenient arrival times, don't they? ;-) If you don't manage to book anywhere, you may wish to be aware of this as a fallback.... http://www.campingcar-infos.com/Francais/ccib.php?numero=25643&chercher=Submit
Brians dad
Like you, we landed in Kristiansand late at night after a delayed ferry, and drove through the town to the car park on the seafront, where there were lots of other vans already parked, and spent a very quiet night at the aire suggested by camping cars info. We did not pay, but we did get going again fairly early in the morning. No facilities there, but we did not need them, only to get our heads down after a none too pleasant ferry journey - lots of locals coming back from a day trip full of cheap food and drink from Denmark!
