nigelF
Hi, I've yet to collect my Hymer 584 from Germany. It is a 1994 model. I'm jumping the gun, but does anyone know the procedure for the rear fog light swap-over? Regards, Nigel
thebishbus
Hi .My previous LHD M / H failed it's second mot with this problem, although it passed it's first one ! I just fitted extra fog and reverse lamps on the correct sides. Brian B.
StuartO
It should be possible to swap the two rear lamp lenses over and cross over the the feeds for fog and reversing light across. Not a big job.
nigelF
Thanks for that. As it's over 10 years VCA not interested (CoC) and DVLA said as long as it passes a UK MOT, they're happy too. Fingers crossed (lol)
nigelF
Hi, Right my Hymer 584 is with me. As you say, I can swap the rear light casings over. As Ive never done any vehicle wiring before ... where would I start or look? 8-) Nigel
manxli
Hi I presume that you've replaced the headlight units too? I don't think it will pass a MOT with deflector stickers. I had to do this the other way round when I brought my RHD UK car with me to Switzerland. Alan
