StuartO
In France, satellite TV had given some trouble tuning (just humed and wizzed without finding anything) so I expected trouble. Throught it might be an LNB failure because we have two TVs, each with its own receiver and neither would work. So I looked on the internet and found a helpful note on the Conrad Anderson website: http://www.conrad-anderson.co.uk/articles/view/kvh-tracvision-r4-and-r5-update Did as it said and the station tuned in almost immediately. The OH thinks I've been very clever and I decided not to enliten her. I have never really understood how satellite TV works, but I have learned that if you search the internet for an answer before you take the outfit to a dealer (which might have been difficult to do in France anyway) you might find there is a very simple solution to get around a probem which is nothing to do with a fault in your system! colin
Is this why Fesspark posted I wonder? Will have to check my snipe. Makes you wonder why all the other sats can change without affecting auto dishes, but Astra 2 seems to always cause problems.
