It isn't clear whether this is wired through an inverter to run while the vehicle is being driven, or is mains only to run when on EHU. However, if you know who installed it, might it not be better to take it back there once you are home? Alternatively, if you don't know the installer, contact a Dometic service agent near where you live when you get home. I'm just guessing that few workshops will be able/willing to drop other jobs to problem solve on demand. It should only take you two days from Dover to Blackpool (one if you get an early start).
